Explanation metal

To prevent the physical hazard: metal particles from entering the products through breakage, a visual inspection takes place at the end of the work or before the start of the next production. During this check all equipment, tools, and etc. are visually checked.

  • In case of breakage / risk of breakage, repair and / or replacement will take place.
  • In case of missing parts / breakage, the remaining batches are quarantined and checked. This can be done via a hired metal detector. If verification is not possible, or the part is not found (visually), the batch will be destroyed.
  • Products with (possibly) metal that have already been delivered will be retrieved from the customer.
  • All measures are recorded in iMIS Audit.
